2008 Class Schedule for Green Blessings
Sunday June 22: 11 am - 2 pm
HERBAL FIRST AID
In this hands on class students will make all natural herbal products that really work like Arnica Cream for bruises, trauma and sore muscles, all purpose salve for sunburn and minor skin irritations and all natural bug repellents and more. Take home samples of each product made in class.\
COST: $30 plus $10 material fee
Sunday July 13: 11 am - 2 pm
LUXURIOUS LAVENDER
Learn about the many varieties of this most exciting aromatic plant and how to grow them. Make useful and delightful products out of this exquisite herb. Also learn to weave a fragrant lavender wand to take home. Take home samples of each product made in class and cuttings of lavender plants to propagate your own.
COST: $30 plus $10 material fee
Saturday October 4: 1 pm - 3 pm
FELTED PUMPKINS
In this hands on class students will learn how to needle felt. It is easy and fun. Students will take home at least 2 completed, felted pumpkins. Materials to take home include felting needle, surface to work on and wool roving to complete several more at home.
COST: $15 plus $15. material fee

CHEESEMAKING
This is a very beginning and basic class to help demystify the art of making cheese in a home kitchen. We will make a soft cheese like cream cheese with herbs, and a mozzerella. Yougart will also be covered. Sample and detailed recipes to take home.
COST: $30 plus $10 material fee
Saturday Novemeber 15: 9 am - 12 noon
KITCHEN COSMETICS
Explore the basics of making all natural skin care products including lip balm, cleansing grains and herbal face creams with many of the ingredients found in your kitchen cupboards and more.
Take home samples as well as detailed cosmetic recipes.
COST: $30 plus $10 material fee
Saturday November 22: 9 am - 12 noon
SOAPMAKING
This classes uses herbs, essential oils and other natural ingredients to make wonderful old-fashioned olive oil and goat's milk soaps. Glycerin soaps will also be covered. Bars of each type of soap made will be made available to take home as well as detailed instructions and recipes.
COST: $30 plus $15 material fee

KITCHEN COSMETICS FOR HOLIDAY GIFT MAKING
Explore the kitchen cupboards for all natural ingredients to make delightful and inexpensive holiday gifts. Just in time for the holidays. Students will take home samples of all products made in class. Fun and unique wrapping will also be covered
